General Information for anyone interested in being a
2026 Christkindl Market Vendor
 

APPLICATION PROCESS: Interested vendors may fill out the appropriate online ‘Vendor Request Form’. Please make sure you include a minimum of 4 photographs (no web links) representing items to be sold. New craft vendor requests will be juried by the committee. Once juried, if you are considered as a new vendor, you will receive an email notification soon after June 1st with application information. No new vendor applications will be accepted before June 1st. Checks (for total amount due) are to be made payable to Christkindl Market of Mifflinburg, Inc. (CMMI) must be mailed to the proper vendor chairperson with your application and photographs. No applications will be accepted after July 15th. Going forward, all craft vendors will be juried on a 3-year rotating basis

VENDOR SPACE FEES: All accepted new vendors will be offered a Christkindl Hut approximately 8' X 10' in size. The current fee for a Christkindl Hut is $375. All fees for accepted applications are non-refundable.

OFFERINGS: Preference is given to crafts that are handmade by yourself or someone in a cottage industry and both crafts and foods that are of German or European Tradition.

ELECTRICITY: Huts have a ceiling light fixture with an LED100 watt equivalent bulb. Food vendors’ electrical needs will be determined based on appliances listed.

WEATHER: This is an outdoor event; be prepared for any type of weather.

LIABILITY INSURANCE: A certificate of liability insurance (with Christkindl Market of
Mifflinburg, Inc. named as a certificate holder) is required for ALL vendors.

REQUIREMENTS: Your booth must be open for business and attended during ALL
Market hours. Failure to comply may jeopardize your attendance at future Markets. If you run out of an item, please have a back-up plan, such as a display of some type, to keep your booth open.

APPEARANCE: You are required to tastefully decorate the inside of your booth, preferably with the Christkindl theme for the year.

WAIVER: Christkindl Market of Mifflinburg, Inc. is not responsible for any damage or injury done to the vendor, to vendor's employees or agents, or to anyone else, or to the vendor's property or the property of the vendor's employees, agents, or anyone else by reason of any cause whatsoever, including water, fire, theft, other casualty loss, or act of nature. Any property belonging to the vendor, vendor's employees, or agents on the site of the Market event, is left at your own risk. Christkindl Market of Mifflinburg, Inc. is not responsible for lost, damaged (including damaged by weather), or stolen goods. The vendor agrees not to hold Christkindl Market of Mifflinburg, Inc. responsible in any way.
